The start
Vandal Marine was born when the Owners of Tender Works teamed up with Espen Øino and Scott Jutson to build the boat they always wanted, but couldn’t find on the market… A no nonsense, rugged and efficient platform that was easy to operate and a breeze to maintain. This methodology has guided the design process to focus only on what you need, and nothing you don’t. Vandal Marine is the perfect compliment to the exquisite work produced by Tenderworks
With this ethos in mind, Naval Architect Scott Jutson designed a foil assisted catamaran. The foil assisted design takes the VANDAL Explorers’ capabilities to the next level by significantly reducing fuel consumption, increasing cruising speed and, providing a softer and drier ride.
Espen Øino was responsible for creating the rugged industrial chic looks of the boat as well as beautifully melding form and function keeping the boat easy to operate, while minimizing unnecessary complicated systems through good design.
Our Heritage
For more than 25 years we have been building Custom Tenders, high performance Sailing Boats and one off Motorboats through our sister company Tenderworks B.V.
As a testament to timeless styling and superior build quality, many of our tenders launched in the 90’s are still in service with
